Best spot in the tri state. Even though it can be a long wait for help. Its definitely worth it.
Top notch aquarium store. Excellent selection of freshwater and salt water live stock. Huge selection of freshwater plants and salt water coral. Tanks are super clean, they will not sell livestock if it isn't healthy. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They are often super busy too. Prices reflect the quality of the establishment.
I typically don't leave reviews for businesses but an outstanding experience such as this definitely deserves one. I worked at a pet store from late high school so early college so I can definitely appreciate the knowledge and customer service that I experienced and overheard from the team at Absolutely Fish during my first and second visits. More often than not my experience in pet stores is that the staff are either super friendly but haven't a clue as to what they are talking about or they are pretty knowledgeable but can have a bit of an elitist attitude... It was refreshing to be in a store and actually have knowledgeable and friendly take time to listen to your questions address your concerns and not just sell you anything ( especially on one of the busiest shopping days of the year as it just so happened to be Black Friday). The person who helped me first was named Matt. Despite my sale of around $20 he was not rushing me or becoming impatient and I wouldn't have known the difference if I was spending hundreds. Excellent experience and I'm sure I will be back.
Great service! They have a very knowledgable staff. Also lots of coral at all prices and, of course, fish! Ive been to a lot of lfs, but this is THE spot to get salt and freshwater fish.
Amazing store. Anyone half serious about fish keeping hobby should make a pilgrimage to this place. Looks like a random warehouse from the outside but inside it's like a giant department store of saltwater and freshwater fish. Staff are very knowledgeable and ready to help. Tanks look nice and clean. Selection is amazing. Literally I have never had a situation where I walked in and they didn't have what I want. Highly recommend!!
