Parking can also be a little tough as it always seems like the spaces are pretty well filled so don't plan on parking close to the building unless you have a handicap placard.
Overall a great story like to shopping and on occasion we do skip it simply because of parking. And the fact that if we go to a bigger supermarket there is more variety, which can cozy more buying items we didn't intend in buying. It really is a personal choice and depending on how many items you're looking for if you're just looking for a quick trip in and out, this is a great location to go.
Prices and variety of foods. Currntly being remodeled and most frozen goods were not available.
I've been shopping here for years. Great prices. Often not enough cashiers and LOOONG lines. I often see 5 cashier l terminals but only one cashier working with the other registers empty and nobody ringing. They are always hiring though. Hmmm.
Great! Got in and found what I wanted. Plus+++ some additional items. If only they had more registers open. Only one register being utilized in the evening. I had to wait on line... They would have gotten 5 stars. And I needed eggs...their cart was empty with the full carts behind it. I asked an employee to push up a full cart and they did so that I could get my eggs. And I was very happy!!!
I believe most people shop for the same items so most people are in and out pretty quickly as well. Like a regular supermarket where you can spend 10 minutes trying to figure out which ketchup you want to buy. ( On a personal note on ketchup look at how many have high fructose corn syrup in them.!)
I believe the reason they never have enough cashiers is because even though they pay well they call people to work when they need them only which means you'll never know what your schedule is going to be working there, which makes it hard for some people to show up with such short notice.
Howdy's is a very simple supermarket they carry a very limited supply of grocery items however the prices are generally very good and they're pretty well stocked.
The problem with Aldis can be the line getting out there almost always making you wait a long time to check out as they don't have many cashiers at any given time. They also charge you for bags if you don't bring your own bags or you can just grab a box off of the shelf from an empty product and use that one. Again though if you don't do that any check you out they put your stuff in a shopping cart that doesn't move so you have to take your stuff out of the shopping cart for the next person to use which can be very frustrating as you feel like you're being rushed. Therefore I recommend bringing either your bags or boxes. They also have shopping carts outside we have to put a quarter in to get your shopping cart out which makes you want to bring your shopping cart back to get the quarter back. That's a great idea, it's just one more thing to know before you go there.
Place has been remodeled. Very nice and expanded their items. Most Aldi products are comparable to name brands for a fraction of the cost
Great prices extremely inexpensive although lines can be long. Great prices extremely inexpensive all the lines can be long the cashier process is quick.
