Been coming here and to Dingo's Den for YEARS. Love the vibe, love the music. There's nowhere quite like Dingo's and Dingbatz in New Jersey. Plus Dingo's bar food is actually pretty badass. The Dingo fries are legendary.
With a brand new Behringer X32, a marvel in modern live audio, one would expect a seamless and enjoyable night of live music. Quite the contrary. A near endless ring of feedback and a mix with no vocals present left a bad taste and disappointed fans. In a live show such as this a polite and courteous sound technician can make up for any problems the night may bring, but tonight he could find no other recourse than to blame everyone in every band for the dismal audio. At least the bathrooms didn't lock, had No soap and no TP though.
Avoid this place like the plague if you value live music at its finest. They might consider halting the half finished remodel, burn it to the ground, and start over.
not a bad place to catch a band. Service is fair. Not bad thou to hang out with a beer and rock out to good music.
Great place to see/hear a band play... my only complaint is the parking situation, hard to find street parking...
It's been my most live venue in NJ in recent times, small venue and sometimes you can't even move around, Sound,staff and service are good.
Dingbats was quite possibly the worst experience in a venue that I can remember in near a decade. A staff that cared very little and was extremely disrespectful to all the bands playing, talking loudly and carrying on during the sets. Beer prices? 7$ for a 10 oz. pour is a real bummer.
