My teachers are great and I've met some pretty awesome staff and classmates. There are a lot of assignments to get done within an 8mth MT enrollement so It does take a lot of hard work and dedication. I have to say my only complaint is the lady at the front desk. She has been very loud, gossipy, and just unprofessional! I'm confused as to why she is still employed there after multiple conflicts with people.
School is what you make of it. If one wants to succeed, they must read the entire chapters, do all their homework assignments, and study! I've learned a lot these past 3 months and have had the privilege of having an instructor as great as Ms Lara. The other staff members in this school are great and go all out to help students. This is honestly one of the only schools that care about the students succeeding. I also love how this school offers a radiology program, something that most dental assisting programs do not offer. Too bad this school lacks parking but other than that, I highly recommend this school to motivated individuals.
Honestly I was excited when I first started to attend, but shortly after I realized how unprofessional this school is. They never know where your new mod is until the day of and you would think they’d keep in touch with you about it like they say they will but they don’t. I was attending for 6 modules and receive a phone call from the front desk and they literally asked me if I wanted to join the program. Clearly they don’t even know who their current students are. Some of the teachers teaching methods are the “let them do what they want” method. In my opinion there isn’t enough structure with staff and students. Parking on the Lexington location is nearly impossible. My work is graded late about 95% of the time. They bribe you for these good reviews because honestly when I first signed up that’s all they kept telling me to do. I was smart enough to wait until I finished my program. Oh & financial aid? Please make sure they know what they are doing. I owe a previous school over 1k just because the lady who did my financial aid didn’t go over the paper work properly and I’m sure she was aware because my previous school & myself had been trying to contact her about the situation for weeks and she never returned my calls. It wasn’t until I caught her in person and even then she claimed she fixed the issue when she actually did not. I really do not recommend this school at all. I regret not going to Fortis Institute.

When I came in , I met with Kim , my most favorite person at school. Kim got me started with Penn Foster (HS diploma). After I finished with Penn Foster , I began my medical assisting program. I really want to thank Kim for all her help.
